2. With a soft, damp cloth / sponge and a small amount of cleaner if necessary, wipe off the
ceramic glass surface and the device’s control panel.
3. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dirt from the vents.
4. Store the device so that it is out of the reach of children and animals. Store it in a dry, clean
area not exposed to direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself rst. However, do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
If one of the following error codes appears on the display, proceed as follows please:
Error code Possible cause / solution
E-0
No cookware has been placed on the hotplate.
The cookware is not suitable for the induction hotplate (see
chapter “Induction cookware”).
The cookware is not located in the centre of the plate.
E-1
The device’s overheat protection has been activated.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket and let the device cool off
completely before using it again.
E-2
The temperature of the cookware’s base is too high.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket and take the cookware being
used off the hotplate. Then, let the device and the cookware cool off
completely before using it again.
E-3 The mains voltage amounts to more than 270 V.
E-4 The mains voltage amounts to less than 140 V.
E-5 The amperage is too high or too low.
Other errors
Nothing appears
on the display after
you have pushed
the ON / OFF
button.
You didn’t select a function (POWER or TEMP button).
The device is not
working.
The mains plug has not been correctly inserted in the socket.
The socket is defective.
Check the fuse for your mains connection.
