• Allow all parts to dry completely before placing them back in the oven.
Troubleshooting
If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the prob-
lem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem Possible cause / solution
The device does not work.
• Have you selected a programme and then pressed the
Start button?
• Is the mains plug correctly inserted in the plug socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
The food does not cook.
• Use the timer to extend the baking time if necessary.
• Vary the temperature or programme if necessary.
Development of odours
or smoke
• When the device is fi rst used: Any coating residues that
may remain may result in a small amount of odour or
smoke development. This is normal. Allow the device
to heat up for about 15 minutes (see the "Operation"
chapter). During this time, make sure the room is well
ventilated, e.g. with wide-open windows!
• The device has already been used: Is the interior
of the oven or are the heating elements dirty or
contaminated? Follow the instructions in the "Cleaning
and Storage" chapter.
