8.6.2 Leakage Current from the Application Part – IA
Direct Measuring Method

Figure 1/2: The DUT (PC1) is operated with line voltage.
The measurements must be performed with mains plug polarity in
both directions. Polarity is reversed with the NL/LN key. After acti-
vating test voltage and line voltage, leakage current is measured
between the short-circuited terminals of the application parts and
PE.

sured between short-circuited conductors L-N-PE (DUT mains
