Entering a new manufacturer
Manufacturers
Enter the manufacturer directly using the softkey keyboard. The
new manufacturer is entered to the catalog by pressing Save .
We recommend saving newly entered manufacturers at regular
intervals with the help of the Backup function in the Setup menu
(see section 4.11.3), or with the data export function as a
version-independent XML file (see section 7.7.6).
Editing Manufacturers
A manufacturer can be selected from the catalog for editing by
marking the appropriate line.
Deleting Manufacturers
In order to delete existing manufacturers, they must first be
marked in the catalog by activating the respective checkbox.
Referenced manufacturers, i.e. manufacturers which are already
being used for DUTs, cannot be deleted.

Entering a Manufacturer
Ð Enter a new manufacturer:
Ð Entry field: Enter manufacturer.
Note

Entry of a new designation or editing of an existing
designation can be exited at any time by pressing the ESC
key (when not in the keyboard entry mode) or (in the
keyboard entry mode). Entries are ignored.
Ð Add the new designation to the catalog by pressing Save .
