4.11.8 Sound – Switching Key Sound On and Off
If this function is activated, each key stroke (for the softkeys as
well) is acknowledged with an acoustic signal. Tap the following
symbol repeatedly in order to activate and deactivate this
function:
4.11.9 Tests – Carrying Deadlines Forward
Here you can replace the default name of a test without deadline,
i.e. “spontaneous test”, with a user specified text. The text is
entered to the “Activity” field.
You can specify whether or not, and if so how a deadline will be
carried forward with the automatic carry forward function (not
automatic, after successfully passing a test or after every test). If
the automatic carry forward function is activated, a new deadline
is set after a test is saved to memory.
The user can also select which deadline will be displayed for a
DUT, if it’s selected in the Automatic Test menu.
4.11.10 Object Hierarchy – Hierarchy Administration (Admin only)
Here you’re provided with an overview of the object hierarchies
within the system, their designations and their identification.
Object hierarchies are used to further demarcate devices under
test. For example, objects can be entered which must fulfill
various test criteria for different applications. If you possess
administrator authority, you can activate and deactivate object
hierarchies. A “red light” means that the respective hierarchy is
not activated. A “green light” means that the respective hierarchy
is activated. In order to deactivate a hierarchy, tap the
corresponding “green light” with the wand. In order to activate a
hierarchy, tap the corresponding “red light” with the wand.
If more than one hierarchy is active, the user has to specify to
which hierarchy newly created devices under test, object types
and object categories will be assigned to. The following
