4.2 Battery Operation
Installing the Battery Pack
Attention!
!
If a DUT is connected to the test socket, disconnect it first.
Do not disconnect the test system from the mains while
changing the battery pack, if you want to prevent the loss of
current configuration data.
Opening the Battery Compartment Lid
Loosen the two captive slotted screws with the help of a coin.
Remove the battery compartment lid.
Connect and insert the battery pack (see figure).
1. Connect the battery pack by inserting its plug until the latch
snaps into place. (In order to disconnect the plug,
simultaneously press the latch towards the plug and pull the
plug out.)
2. Insert the battery pack. Make sure that neither the connector
cable nor any portion thereof is located underneath the battery
pack.
3. Stow the connector cable in the empty space to the right of
the inserted battery pack.
Closing the Battery Compartment Lid
Set the battery compartment lid back into place and retighten the
two screws.
If a fully charged battery pack has been installed and the test sys-
tem is not connected to the mains, the battery symbol ap-
pears at the display after start-up and login, and the number of
dark bars indicates the battery charge level. After installing the
battery pack, the device is automatically supplied with power from
the batteries.
