Automatic Test – Administration
If data are exported in vFM / PS3 format, the following submenu
appears:
If the expert setting is selected, you can select the directory path
to which the catalog.imp and data.imp files will be exported.
If this setting is deactivated, the file is saved to the root directory
and you have the option of exporting both files at the same time
with the “All” button.
The “Export new/edited files only” setting make it possible for you
to export these file only, instead of all catalog data and portable
data.
Note

The “Export new/edited files only” setting assumes that all
data have been previously exported at least once.
7.7.6 Data Export to XML
The “Data export” and “Data import” submenus in the administration
function allow for data exchange between the test system and PC appli-
cations via the CF card.
All data entered to, and values measured with the test system can
be read out.
The XML format saves all data from the test system and is suitable
for use as a backup, because it’s version independent.
Note

The file generated during XML export (filename.xml) is
device-specific, and is not practicably exchangeable with
XML from Microsoft Office Applications.
Prerequisites
•
The CF card / USB stick has adequate available memory space .
•The CF card
/ USB stick is inserted.
• The yellow LED next to the slot is lit up.
