For checking potential, i.e. this contact surface must
be touched in order to determine whether or not the
protective conductor is charged with dangerous
contact voltage (see page 66).
ESC+HELP Simultaneous activation of these two keys:
– Standby: The Prüfsystem is switched to standby.
Background illumination is switched off in the standby
mode. The Prüfsystem is reactivated by pressing the
ONSTART key, or by contacting the touch screen. The
Prüfsystem is shut down completely after two hours in
the standby mode.
– Switch off: Switches the Prüfsystem off.
The Prüfsystem is shut down and the database is reor-
ganized (page 20).
If the test system cannot be switched off with the
ESC+HELP key combination or with icon , it can be
shut down in an emergency by pressing and holding
the Start key for roughly 5 seconds.

The database may be destroyed by pressing and holding
the Start key!

Use the included stylus in order to select a pictograph.
Other objects may damage the touch screen’s sensitive
surface.
In the event that not all of the test steps or other displays can be
shown at the same time, a scroll bar appears automatically at the
right-hand edge of the screen which can be tapped in order to
scroll through the display.
