7.6.4 Catalog of Location Designation
A location designation can be entered here, to which one of the
four location designations can then be assigned, namely “Prop-
erty”, “Building”, “Floor” or “Room”.
Entering a New Location Designation
When a data record is entered, a location type must first be
selected:
r Room
r Floor
r Building
r Property
Then enter the location designation directly using the softkey key-
board.
Ð Add the new location designation to the catalog by tapping
Save
.
We recommend saving newly entered locations at regular inter-
vals with the help of the Backup function in the Setup menu
(see
section 4.11.3 ) or via the data export function as an XML file
which is independent of a version, see section 7.7.6 .
Changing Location Designations
A designation can be selected from the catalog for editing by
marking the appropriate line.
Changing Location Designations
In order to delete existing location designations, they must first be
marked in the catalog by activating the respective checkboxes.
Location designations for which references already exist cannot
be deleted.
