Short-form Operating Instructions
Entering a Location
Ð Enter a new location .
Ð Select the location type (property, building, floor or room)
and acknowledge with OK.
Basic Attributes Index Card
Various entry parameters appear depending upon the selected
type of location.
Property
Ð Designation This entry appears in the catalog
of locations as “Property Entry”
Ð ID no. Entry of numbers and/or letters
All other parameters listed in this index card are optional entries.
Building
Ð Included in
location A superordinate location type
must be selected from a catalog.
Ð ID no. Entry of numbers and/or letters
Ð Designation This entry appears in the catalog
of locations as “Building Entry”
All other parameters listed in this index card are optional entries.
Floor
Ð Included in
location A superordinate location type
must be selected from a catalog.
Ð ID no. Entry of numbers and/or letters
Ð Designation This entry appears in the catalog
of locations as “No Building, Floor Entry”
All other parameters listed in this index card are optional entries.
Room
Ð Included in
location A superordinate location type
must be selected from a catalog.
Ð ID no. Entry of numbers and/or letters
Ð Room The entry for the room number appears in the
catalog of locations as “No Building, Room Entry”
All other parameters listed in this index card are optional entries.
Address Index Card
An associated address (usually the address of the property or
building which is at the higher level in the hierarchy) can be
entered or selected here.
Customer Index Card
A customer can be selected from an existing catalog and as-
signed here. If no customer is selected, the customer associated
with the assigned location (address) appears with a faded, pale
font color. Customers cannot be entered here.
Ð Add the new location to the catalog by tapping Save .
