Automatic Test – Administration
If the selected DUT has only one assigned test sequence, this se-
quence is started automatically. The test sequence can neverthe-
less be changed. The assigned test steps can be reviewed in the
test steps index card.
The inspector is assigned in the advanced index card.
We recommend saving newly entered deadlines at regular
intervals with the help of the Backup function in the Setup
menu (see
section 4.11.3 ) or via the data export function as an
XML file which is independent of a version, see section 7.7.6 .
Short-form Operating Instructions
Entering a Deadline
Ð Enter a new deadline: .
Test Assignment Index Card
Ð Interval Voluntary additional entry as a
supplement to the Start parameter
Ð DUT ID no. Select the ID number of a device under test
from a catalog.
The associated object type and the designation are displayed.
Ð Test sequence Upon selecting “assigned to the DUT”, only
those test sequences are display which were assigned when
the device under test was entered.
Select a test sequence
(if “show all” is selected, test sequences which were not origi-
nally assigned to the DUT can also be selected).
Ð Start Enter a date
(the date must be in the future).
Ð Activity A comment can be entered here.
Advanced Index Card
Comments regarding the test can be entered here according to
deadline.
Test Steps Index Card
This display is purely informational. The test steps included in the
selected test sequence are displayed here.
Note

Entry of a new deadline can be exited at any time by
pressing the ESC key (when not in the keyboard entry mode)
or (in the keyboard entry mode). Entries are ignored.
Ð Add the new deadline to the catalog by tapping Save .
