displayed to the right of the respective test step.
After testing has been completed, each test step is flagged either
passed 4
or not passed 8.
As soon as any one of the test steps is not passed, the entire test
is deemed not passed and not passed 8 appears in the index card
to the right of “Test”.
For this reason, the option of aborting the test is offered as soon
as one step is failed.
If all of the test steps are passed, passed 4 appears in the index
card to the right of “Test”.
Saving the Test Results
If you want to document all of the tests, it is advisable to save test
results after completion of each test by tapping the save icon .
Apart from the main measured value, other available measured
values are saved to memory as well. These measured values are
time-synchronized.
Displaying Test Results
After the test has been completed, the documentation icon
appears. General test data (“Test” index card) and the associated
measurement and test results of the individual measurements
(“Test Steps” index card) are displayed by tapping the documenta-
tion icon .
Printing Test Results
• Displayed data can be read out to a connected USB printer by
tapping the Print button .
•If the PRINT key is activated, the user can select whether the
test report for the current measurement will be printed out via a
connected USB printer, or read out as a screen print.
Test Report Print-Out
A test report with a form sheet template can be printed out for
each measurement. If a second page is required when printing
out a report, reference to the first page is included. Otherwise, the
signatures on the last page are not legally binding for the previ-
ous pages. The date of the test and the DUT’s ID number appear
at the upper left in the print-out. It is also possible to print a logo
on the test report provided you have loaded one into the Secustar
via the setup menu (see page 27)
A function for printing the report to the CF card is offered addi-
tionally in the print menu. A directory with the name “reports” is
added to the CF card in this case. This directory contains subdi-
rectories which are named according to the test hierarchy. The in-
dividual reports are saved to these hierarchy directories. The file-
name has the following structure:
[ID_no.]_[date_time]_[no._of_pages].png
When the display is returned to the auto-start menu, the documen-
tation icon is no longer displayed. However, it is possible to
review test results once again, to enter additional comments and
to save and print out the modifications under “Tests” in the ad-
ministration function (see section 7.5).
