CH 5/ Start Menu
Mode of Operation
Basic meter
setup
After entering the correct nominal values for circuit monitoring, users have the option
to set the instrument to record data or use the instrument as a meter.
Action... Result...
STEP 1: From the Frequency
Tracking screen, press Next to
display the Mode of Operation.
• To set up the instrument to
record data, press to enable
Continue and set limits to
record events and statistical
data. Press Next and go to
page 5-18.
• To use the instrument as a
meter, press to enable Use as a
meter. Proceed to Step 2.
•Press Cancel to discard
changes and return to Start
menu.

STEP 2: The instrument is now
configured for your specified
wiring setup and is ready to use as
a meter.
•Press Finish to begin using
instrument as a meter and
return to Home screen.
•Press Cancel to discard meter
mode operation and return to
Start menu.
