13.2 Error Messages
The following pop-up windows must be acknowledged and/or
cleared by any desired key and the cause of the error must be
eliminated.

voltage.

OFFSET measurement does not make sense.
Remedy: Check system.

Externally accessible fuse is blown.
The voltage ranges remain functional even if the fuse has blown.

: Interference voltage during measurement may result in a
blown fuse.
Remedy: Replace fuse (replacement fuse in battery compartment).
Observe notes regarding fuse replacement in section 12.3.1.

The electronic fuse protects low-resistance (Rlo) and resistance measure-
ments (kΩ) from overloading (electronic hardware circuit).
The voltage ranges remain functional even if the fuse has blown.
Remedy: This error message must be acknowledged and cleared by
pressing the ESC key.

Battery voltage is less than or equal to 8 V.
Reliable measurement is no longer possible.
Storage of measured values to memory is disabled.
Remedy: Rechargeable batteries must be recharged, or replaced towards
the end of their service life.
