10.5 Shunt resistor SR9800 (Article number Z249A)
Using shunt resistor SR9800*, which transforms the output volt-
age of current clamp sensors (Hall effect sensors) into current, in
combination with current clamp sensor CP1800, allows for the
power and energy measurement of DC applications with high cur-
rents as well, such as for measurements at photovoltaic systems.
The shunt resistor is connected in the current path between cur-
rent clamp sensor (accessory CP1800) and mA/A input of the
multimeter to this end.
Characteristic Values
Nominal resistance 9.81
Tole ra nce 0.1%
Power 0.5 W
Length 11 cm
Diameter 21 mm
Length of adapter
cable 31 cm
Weight 42 g (including adapter cable)
The maximum permissible operating voltage is 600 V CAT III to
earth. When reading the measured value, please take into
account the additional error resulting from the current clamp sen-
sor plus 0.5 % deviation.
* applicable for multimeters of the METRAHIT ENERGY series as of firmware version
2.xx
10.6 Interface Accessories (not included)
USB X-TRA Bidirectional Interface Adapter (Z216C)
E series METRAHIT multimeters which are equipped with a serial
IrDa interface can be connected to a USB port at a PC with the
adapter. The adapter allows for data transmission between the
multimeter and the PC.
METRAwin10 PC Analysis Software
METRAwin10 PC software is a multilingual, measurement data log-
ging program* for recording, visualizing, evaluating and docu-
menting measured values from METRAHIT multimeters.
Details on the system requirements are given in the installation
instructions of METRAwin 10/METRAwin 45.
* runs under any IBM compatible Windows operating system
