Fasteners should be retorqued at about 25 miles. Retorquing must be
done at any time the fasteners are removed. Write the specified torque
requirement on owner’s wheel documents
and review the complete instructions with
the customer.
Advise the customer to keep the documents
with the vehicle owner’s manual and pass it
along to any new owner of the vehicle.
If wheel locks are installed, make sure the key is given to the customer. It is
always a good idea to have the customer review, initial and sign the safety
checklist provided by the wheel manufacturer.
AFTER INSTALLATION
Each set of Gorilla Locks comes
with a key code label, complete
with ordering information for
replacement keys.
