Prewash

For washing heavily soiled laundry with mostly superﬁ cial dirt.

In basic programs, prewash is switched off. It can be activated

using the Selection (C) key in programs for cotton, synthetics,

delicates, and mix.

Short program

Power-efﬁ cient function for washing less soiled laundry or a

smaller load. Washing and rinsing time is decreased. With some

programs, water consumption is also lower.

If the short program

function is selected with the Cotton 30°C

program, “Quick program”

is activated.

Additional rinse

For laundry worn by persons highly sensitive to washing

detergents.

Self-cleaning program (SterilTub)

This function is designed to remove impurities, bacteria, and any

odour from the appliance. It can only be selected with the Cotton

95°C program. No other function can be selected simultaneously.

Before running the self-cleaning program, empty the washing

machine drum; there should be no laundry in the washing

machine during this program.

Adding a small amount of powder detergent will improve the elf-

cleaning program effect. If washing programs with temperatures

above 60°C are not used regularly, it is recommended that self-

cleaning program be run at least once per month.

Easy ironing

Gentle tumbling and ﬁ nal spin prevent excessive creasing of

laundry. Follow the determined maximum load for particular

programs. Suggested reduced load (cotton 3 kg, synthetics 2 kg).

Cold wash (only available with some models)

For washing lightly soiled or color-sensitive laundry.

When this function is activated, the heaters in the washing

machine are turned off, and the washing program is shortened.

Higher water level

• Improves rinsing, which is particularly important if your skin is

oversensitive to detergents.

• For washing heavily soiled laundry.
