Hob controls
• Each connection to the mains (power failure included)
is followed by automatic accommodation to the exterior
conditions in order to provide the most effi cient sensor function
and render the best control of the hob.
• After the successful connection of the hob, the indicators show
the mark “-” for a few seconds which eventually disappear.
• The hob is fi tted with electronic sensors which are activated if
you touch the marked surface with your fi ngertip and keep it
for at least one second.
• Each touch of the sensors is confi rmed by a beep.
• Do not place any objects upon the sensor surface during the
accommodation period, otherwise you may provoke error
mode. Keep sensor surface clean and free of dirt at all times.
When the hob is turned off all the hotplates are off and indicator
LED’s are off.
To switch the hob on, touch the ON/OFF sensor (A) for at least 1
second. The hob is activated and all power displays (D) indicate
»0« for a period of 10 seconds. .
Now you need to select the next setting within 10
seconds, otherwise the hob switches off again.
If you switched the hob on using the ON/OFF sensor (A), within
the next ten seconds you can switch on any hotplate.
• Set the heating power from 1 to 9 by touching sensors »+» (B)
or »-« (C). If you start the setting by touching the (-) sensor,
power indicator will be set to level ‘’4’’, and if you start the
setting by the (+) sensor, heating power will be set to ‘’9.’’
and automatic cooking mode will be activated (see section
‘Automatic cooking mode).
Continuous pressing of »+» (B) or »-« (C) ssensor the
power level is automatically increased or reduced.
Another procedure is to change power in steps is by
intermediate touching of relevant sensors.
You may only set one selected hotplate at a time.
LED display indicates »0« or „H“, depending on
the preceding hotplate temperature (see section
‘Remaining heat’).
You can also turn the hotplate off prior the end of
cooking and use the remaining heat, and save energy.
