Bottom heater and fan
Both the bottom and fan are in operation. The mode is useful
for baking thin pastry and preparation of preserved fruit and
vegetables. Use the fi rst guide level from the bottom, and not too
high pans, to allow the air to circulate along the upper side of the
food. Preset temperature (°C) - 160, maximum available setting
(°C) - 230.
Bottom heater
Heat is applied only by the bottom side of the oven. Use this
option for browning the bottom side of the food (baking heavy,
moist pastry with fruit dressing). Use temperature button to set
the appropriate temperature. Lower heater may also be used for
the cleaning of oven. You will fi nd details in the section Cleaning
and maintenance. Preset temperature (°C) - 160, maximum
available setting (°C) - 230.
Top heater
Heat comes only from the upper part of the oven. Use it
for browning the upper side of your roast or cake. Preset
temperature (°C) - 150, maximum available setting (°C) - 230.
Defrosting
In this mode the air circulates without any of the heaters
being turned on. It is used for slow defrosting of food. Preset
temperature (°C) - /, maximum available setting(°C) - /.
Baking/roasting temperature setting
• After selecting the mode of operation, press the temperature
sensor to set the oven temperature anywhere between 30 to
275°C (depending on the selected mode) in 5°C steps.
• If the meat probe is hooked-up the display above the oven
temperature indicates the icon for probe temperature setting
(see section ‘Programmed roasting with meat probe’).
• Use temperature sensor to set meat probe temperature and
roasting temperature.
