Copying text from messages
You can copy text from messages you receive, so you can paste it into the message
you compose or into text fields in other applications.
When you’re composing a message, you select, cut, copy, and paste text using basic
editing techniques, as described in “Editing text” on page 34.
To copy text from a message
1 Open a message and scroll to the beginning of the of text you want to copy

2 Press Menu and touch and touch More > Select text.
3 Use your finger to drag across the text you want to copy.
OR
Use the Trackball to move the small arrow to the beginning of the text you want to
copy, press and release the Trackball, roll the Trackball to move the cursor to the
end of the text you want, and then press the Trackball again.
The text you selected is copied to the clipboard.
You can now use the techniques described in “Editing text” on page 34 to paste
the copied text into a message you compose or into a text field in another
application.
