Hardware Limited Warranty - United States
This warranty applies if you purchased your Google WiFi router ("Router"
below) in t he United States or Canada .
Limited Warranty
Goog le warrants that a new Router (including any ancillary parts that may
be packaged with it) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship
unde r normal use in accordance with Goog le 's published user
doc umentation for one year from the date of original reta il purchase in its
original packaging by you. If a Router has been refurbi shed, Goog le
warrants that the Router (incl uding any anc illary parts that may be
pac kage d with it) will be free from defects in materi als and workmanship
under no r mal use in accordance with Google 's published user
documen tat io n for n ine ty days from the date of retail purchase by you
(t hese warrant i es are collectively referred to as our "Limited Warranty" ).
Th is Limited Wa rr anty is on ly val id and enforceable in locations the Router
is sold and will apply on ly if you purchased your Route r from Google or its
authorized re sellers. This Limited Warranty on ly applies to hardware
components (and not any software ele ments) of the Router, and this Limited
Warranty does not apply to damage caused by normal wear and tea r,
acc idents, misuse (including fai lure to fo llow product documentation),
neglect, disassembly, alterations, servicing other than by Goog le aut h orized
technic ians, and external causes such as, bu t not limi ted to, wate r damage,
anomalies in the electrical current supplied to the device, and extreme
thermal or environmental conditions. This Limited Warranty does not
guarantee that use of the Router will be un in ter r upted or error free.
EXCLUS I VE REMEDY : If a defect ar ises and you return your Router during
the Limited Warranty pe ri od (which is one year for new devices and ninety
days for refurbi shed devices) , Goog le wil I in its sole discretion and to the
extent permitted by law either repair your Router using new or re fu rb i shed
parts, replace your Router with a new or refurbished Router functionally at
lea st equ ivalent to yours, or accept the return of the Router in exchange for
a refund of the purchase price you pa id for the Phon e. If Google rep airs or
rep l aces the Router, the repaired or replaced R ou ter will co nt inue to be
warranted for the remaini ng t ime of t he original warranty peri od. All
returned parts fo r wh ich you have re ce ived a replacement will become the
property of Google. Nothing in this Lim ited Warranty will r educe or
otherwi se affect your statutory rights in re lati on to the Router.
To make a c laim under the Limited Warranty, please call Google Wifi cus to mer
ca re . We'll need your name , contact informati on and the serial number on
the bottom of your Rou te r. You will need to pr ov ide a pu r chase receipt.
THE LIMITED WARRANTY WRITTEN ABOVE IS THE ONLY EXPRESS
WARRANTY GOOG LE PROVIDES FOR THE ROUTER, AND THE ABOVE
REMEDY IS YOUR SOLE RE MEDY . TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED
BY APPLICABLE LAW, GOOGLE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER STATUTORY OR
IMPLIED, ARISING FROM COURSE OF CONDUCT OR OTHERWISE ,
REGARDING THE ROUTER, EXCEPT THAT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND
NON - INFR I NGEMENT ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIOD OF THE
EXPRESS WARRANTY ABOVE (EITHER ONE YEAR OR NINETY DAYS ,
DEPENDI NG ON WHETHER THE ROUTER IS N EW OR REFURBISHED.
Some States do not allow limitations on how lo ng an impl ied warranty lasts,
so the above limitati on may not apply to you.
YOU EXPRESS LY UNDERSTA ND AND AGREE THAT , TO THE MAXIMUM
EXTE NT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GOOGLE AND I TS
SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES (COLLECT IV ELY, "GOOGLE PARTIES")
SHAL L NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY
(WHETHER CO NTRA CT , TORT (INCLUD ING NEGLIG ENCE), BREACH OR
FAILURE OF ANY WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE) FOR ANY INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIA L, CONSEQUENT IAL OR EXEMP LARY DAMAGES
THAT MAY BE INCUR RED BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THE ROUTER OR
THESE TERMS, INCL UD I NG ANY LOSS OF DATA , WHETHER OR NOT A
GOOGLE PARTY OR ITS REPRESENT ATIVES HAV E BEEN ADVISED OF OR
SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH LOSSES
ARISING . YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, TO THE
MAXIM UM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE GOOGLE
PARTIES' TOTAL LIAB ILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE ROUTER OR THIS
LIMITED WARRANTY WILL NO T EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY
PAID GOOGLE F OR THE ROUTER .
Some States do not allow the exclusion or l im itation of incidental or
conseq uen tial damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not
apply to you .
No employee or re presentat ive of Google or its affiliates or any third party
is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this
Limi ted Warranty . If any term of this L im ited Warranty is held to be i llega l or
u nenfo rceab le , the rema ining terms of this Limited Wa rranty will re mai n in
full force and effect.
This warranty gives you spec ific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from State to State.
This Limited Warranty is given by Google LLC, organized in the state of
Delaware. whose principal p la ce of business is at 1600 Amphitheatre
Par kway , Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.
