Troubleshooting tips Take a look at how to solve some of the most common issues that can arise with Nest Hello. Chime won’t stop ringing Solve it: Electronic chimes might ring unexpectedly. At a first glance, it might seem like this is due to a faulty chime as a small amount of voltage can be present. This is normal as there’s a 3 ohm resistance in series in the puck during steady state. The leading cause is mis-wiring, especially with more complex chimes that use 3 wires.
