Is the crown in acceptable
condition?
Is the clay tile liner in good
condition?
Does the cleanout contain
debris?
Remove all debris
Line the chimney with a prop-
erly sized and listed flexible metal
liner or type B-vent as described in
NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1 or ANSI/
NFPA 211.
Is the clay tile liner properly
installed in the chimney ?
Repair the crown
Repair existing liner or reline
chimney as needed
Does the clay tile liner have
misaligned, missing sections, or
gaps?
Chimney may be used with
Goodman masonry vent kit
