Description, Function and Intended Use
Goobay-carholderserveforthesecureplacementofyoursmallmobiledevices
suchassmartphonesandtablets.Theyinvolveeithermodel-specicoruniver-
saldeviceadapterandareofferedasindividualproductsandsets.Goobay-car
holderoffervariousmountingandcongurationoptionsandcanbeattachedto
windshield,airvent,12Vsocketorheadrest.

Preparing
1. Comparethespecicationsofalluseddevicesandcheckthemfor
beingcompatibletoeachother.
2. Selecttheinstallationplacesothatneitheroperationnorthe
driver‘sviewisimpairedwhiledriving.
Operation
a) Headrest mounting
1. Slidetheheadrestfarupwards.
2. Loosenthe2headrestresttermi-
  nals.
3. Attachtheheadrestholdersothat
theoperabilityinthevehiclerear
isensured.
4. Tightenthe2headrestterminals.
5. Adjustanyjointsandtightenthem.
b) Suction cup mounting
1. Cleanthesurface.
As ideal base we recommend smooth and
clean windshields.
2. Loosenthethesuctioncup.
3. Placethesuctioncupushtothe
selectedsurface.
Moisten the suction cup with poor adherence
to something.
4. Adjustanyjointsandtighten
them.
c) 12V socket mounting
1. Removethecigarettelighter.
2. Plugthe12Vconnectorof12V
socket holder into the 12V cigaret-
    telightersocket.
For some vehicle models, you need to switch
on the ignition so that voltage is present.
In order to charge your mobile device, a
model-specicchargingcablemaybe
necessary.
3. Adjustanyjointsandtighten
them.
4. Turnthegooseneckttingway
around.
Charging cables are not included.
d) Vent mounting
1. Adjusttheairventslotonmaxi-
    mumow.
2. Plugthe2lockinglugsoftheair
ventholderwithintotheairvent.
In some vehicles the mobile device holder
can only be loose due to thinner air vent
slats.
3. Adjustanyjointsandtighten
them.
4. Setthespacersothatthemobile
deviceholderisrmlyseated.
Use

andplacedrmlybackaftersetting.Thesemaybeimplementedas:
