CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
5.Placethexture’sbackplate(D)overthemountingstrap(A).Holesonthesideofthebackplate(A)andholesfoundonthesideof
themountingstrap(A)shouldmatch.Threadscrews(C)throughtheholesinbackplate(D)andintotheholesinmountingstrap(A).
Securescrewsuntilthebackplateofthextureissnugagainstthewall.
6.Slideglasspanels(G1&G2)intothextureframe(F)throughthebottomofthexture.Leanglasspanels(G2)againsttheback
andfrontofthexture,andglasspanels(G1)againstthesidesofthexturewithinthextureframe(F).Secureglasspanels(G1&
G2)tothextureframe(F)bybendingsmallmetaltabs(M),locatedatthetopandbottomoftheframe,againsttheglasstoxitin
place.Themetaltabs(M)canbepressedagainsttheglasspanelsusingaatheadscrewdrivertosecureinplace.
7.Alignandplaceaccentframes(H)overthextureframe(F).Secureaccentframes(H)tothextureframe(F)usingscrews(L).
Installlightbulbs(notincluded)intosocket(J)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximum
recommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Remove the old xture from the wall, including the
old mounting bracket.
1.Mountingstrap(A)containsseveralpairsofthreadedholesandtwosetsofmountingscrews(B&C).Findthepairofholesthat
matchesthespacingoftheholesonthejunctionboxandthexture’sbackplate.Placemountingstrap(A)uptoyourjunctionbox.
Placebackplate(D)overthemountingstrap,lininguptheholesfoundonthesideofthemountingstrap(A)withtheholesontheside
ofthebackplate(D).Checkthatyourholesarelevelandparalleltotheground,thiswillensureyouarehangingthexturestraight
2.Securemountingstrap(A)tothewall’sjunctionboxusingmountingscrews(B)andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
3.Pullthehousewiresthroughthecenterofmountingstrap(A).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
4.Attachthexture’swirestothehousewirespulledearlierfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot(blackwire,transparentwire
withblackinnerthread,orsmoothwire),NeutraltoNeutral(whitewire,transparentwirewithwhiteinnerthread,ortheribbedwire),
andGroundtoGround(greenwire,transparentwirewithgreeninnerthread,orthecopperwire).Twisttheendsofeachwirepair
together.Secureeachconnectionwithawireconnector(usuallyorange).Makesurealltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereis
nohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,pleaselocategroundscrew(E)onthemountingstrap(A)andwrapthexture’s
groundwirearoundgroundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresandintothemounting
bracket/mountingbracket.Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.
