IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Please note that this xture can be installed as a semi-ush or as a pendant and
includes two canopies. The semi-ush canopy has screws on the sides and a small
hole in the center. The pendant canopy has a large hole in the center. Please decide
how you would like to install the xture and choose the appropriate canopy and
instructions.
For semi-ush installation, please see the instructions below. For pendant installation,
please ip the page and follow the instructions.
Carefully remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above.
Shut o the power at the circuit breaker and completely remove the old xture from
the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.
From the parts bag remove the mounting strap assembly. Canopy (G) should have
mounting strap (A) attached to the top. Use a screwdriver to carefully loosen and
remove screws (I). Place the screws aside for later. Be sure that mounting strap (A) is
centered over the junction box so that the xture hangs straight when mounted. Use
mounting screws (B) to secure mounting strap (A) to the junction box. Tighten the
screws securely.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
Attach top nial (T) to post (M) of top cap (N). One of connector rods (O) will house the
xture’s wires. Slide the xture’s wires through the rod and attach hook (P) to loop (S).
Hook the other end of the rod to top cap (N). Pull the xture’s wires through the top of
rod (O). Have an assistant hold top cap (N) up and attach the remaining connector rods
(O) to xture’s base (R) and top cap (N). Pull the wires until taut. Slide canopy plate (G2),
canopy mirror (G1), and canopy (G) onto the wires and over top nial (T). Use washers
(D and F) and hex nut (C) to secure the canopy assembly to top nial (T).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
Have an assistant support the xture’s weight while completing the wiring. Cut away
excess wire. Attach the xture’s wires to the power supply wires from the junction box.
Connect black to smooth/black/transparent (L) wire; white to ribbed/white/transparent
(N) wire; ground to ground (green or copper). Twist the ends of the wire pairs together,
and then twist on a wire connector. Make sure all twists are in the same direction. If there
is no ground wire (green or copper) from the junction box, locate ground screw (E) on
mounting strap (A) and wrap the xture ground wire around the green ground screw
(E). Use a screwdriver to secure ground screw (E) onto the mounting bracket/mounting
strap. Tuck all wires.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
Raise
the canopy assembly up to the ceiling and tightly thread screws (F) into the sides
of canopy (G).
Slide candle sleeves (Q) over the sockets. Install light bulbs (not provided)
in accordance with the xture’s specications. Do not exceed the maximum
recommended wattage.
Your installation is complete. Turn on the power and test the xture.

SEMI-FLUSH INSTALLATION
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn o the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.
