Assembly Instructions: 3417-BA2/BA3 (Asha)
IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Removeallofthecontentsfromthecarton.Seetheimportantnotesabove.Removetheoldxturefromthewall,includingtheold
mountingstrap.
1.Takemountingstrap(B)fromthepartsbag.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralpairsofthreadedholes.Findthepairofholesthat
matchesthespacingoftheholesonthejunctionboxandyourxture’sbackplate.
2.Pullthehousewiresthroughthecenterofmountingstrap(B),andplacemountingstrap(B)overthejunctionboxsothatmounting
screws(A)arehorizontal,andinalignmentwiththeholelocationsonbackplate(F).Youmayneedtotightennuts(C)thatholdmounting
screws(A)inplace.
3.Securemountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(D)andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down
the xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

CONNECTING THE WIRES
4.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompleting
thewiring.Cutawaytheexcesswires.Refertothewiringdiagram
andattachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthe
junctionbox.ConnectHottoHot,NeutraltoNeutral,andGround
toGround.Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwist
onawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsareinthesamedirection.
Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,
locategroundscrew(E)onthemountingbracket/mountingstrap
andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Use
ascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewires
andintothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.Tuckthewiresinto
thejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
5.Placexturebackplate(F)overmountingscrews(A)andmountingstrap(B).
6.Securebackplate(F)tomountngstrap(B)bythreadingdeconuts(H)ontotheexposedthreadsofmountingscrews(A).
7.Installlightbulbs(K-notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumwattage.
8.Carefullypushglassshades(I)upoverthebulbsandsockets.Securetheshadesinplacebytighteningscrews(J)intotopcaps(J).
9.Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
