CONNECTING THE WIRES
4.Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite(or
ribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesure
alltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)on
mountingstrap(B)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew
(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
5.Placethexture’sbackplate(F)overmountingstrap(B)sothattheholesintabs(C)onmountingstrap(B)lineupwiththeholesin
thesideofbackplate(F).Insertmountingscrews(D).Twistuntilthebackplateofthextureissnugagainstthewall.
6.Slidedecorativecups(H)andglassshades(I)oversockets(G)andsecureinplacewithsocketrings(J).
Installlightbulb(notincluded)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.

CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

above.Shutoffthepoweratthe
circuitbreakerandcompletely
removetheoldxturefromthewall,
includingtheoldmountingstrap.
1.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveral
pairsofthreadedholes.Findthepair
ofholesthatmatchesthespacing
oftheholesonthejunctionboxand
yourxture’sbackplate.
2.Lineuptabs(C)withtheholesin
thetopofbackplate(F).
