AUTO POWER-DOWN
The Auto Power-Down feature provides the ability for the radio to turn itself o
after a user selectable time (based on your preference). By default, this feature is
turned o.
To setup Auto Power-Down:
1. Press MENU and select RADIO SETTINGS.
2. Next, select AUTO POWER.
3. Select TIMEOUT, then press MENU to select an appropriate setting.
The NONE option will disable this feature, while a setting of 30-180
minutes allows the radio to turn o after the selected time.
By default, while the Auto Power-Down feature is enabled, the radio will turn o
after the preselected time even if the radio is receiving transmissions. If you would
like to keep the radio on while it is receiving transmissions, this setting needs to
be turned on. You can turn on this feature as follows:
