Cleaning the Filters
Continued efcient operation, reliability and a long service life
as well as safety, require inspections and maintenance work
to be regularly carried out by a competent person approved
at the time by the Health and Safety Executive and on an
annual basis.
We recommend making a maintenance agreement. The
operational reliability of the device can be impaired, resulting
in damage to property or personal injury, if maintenance work
is not carried out.
You, as the owner or user, may execute the following
maintenance work yourself:
Clean and replace the lters in the domestic ventilation unit.
Clean and replace the lter in the bypass casing (if used).
Clean the fresh air or exhaust air valves in the living space.
Reset the time interval for lter replacement in accordance
with section "User Controls"
It depends on the contamination levels how often the lters
must be cleaned or replaced. We recommend to regularly
check the lters during the initial operational period and
assess the need to clean them, e.g. every three months. If
you then feel that the lters are only slightly contaminated or
dirty, you may extend the interval.
NOTE: Replace the lters at least once a year or after a
maximum of 2000 operating hours.
You can clean the lters with a vacuum cleaner. If this is not
enough, the lters must be replaced.
DO NOT clean the lters with water or other liquids.
Dispose of the used lters with the domestic waste.
Cleaning or Replacing the Filter

positioning in order to avoid damaging the lters.
● Position the lter handles on the clean or new lters.
On the one side, the lter handles are tted with guides which
must be pushed into the grooves in the unit.
– The upper lter of the Atmosorb and the bypass lter are
mounted with these guides pointing to the bottom.
– The lower lter is mounted with the guide pointing to the top.
