screen.You canobtaintheseasaccessories.Forinitialtests,itiscertainlysufficienttobuilda
projectionscreen,asperthefollowingexample:
Takeaboxandcutouta10x10cmpiece.Cutacircularholdinthesizeoftheeyepiecebracket
inthemiddle,andpokethroughtwoadditionalsmallerholes(1topright,1bottomleft)approx.
2cmfromtheedge(seeFig.PartB).Then,take2thickstrawsandaffixthemovertheholes.Cut
anotherpiece(approx.10x10cm)outofthebox,andpastewhitepaperononeside.
Poke2holesinthesamepositionsasforthefirstpart.
Nowplacethe2ndpart(A)ontothestraws,withthewhitesidefacingtowardtheopeningofB.
Finally,placetheself-builtprojectionscreenontheeyepiecebracket.Bymovingbackandforth,
youcanfocusthewhiteprojectionscreen,untilyouseenanimage.Youwillhavegoodandsafe
eyeprotection.
Remember:Neverlookdirectlyatthesun.Likealaserbreakingthroughanarmoureddoor,you
canloseyoursight.
Caution:
Sunobservationsalwaysonlywithoutaneyepiece,asthiscanbedamagedfromintenseheat
development.

