3.Firstcarryoutthesharpnesssettingusinganeyepiecewithlowmitgeringermagnification
andthenreplacewiththeeyepiecewiththerequiredmagnification.
4.Eachtimeafterchangingthe eyepieces,carryoutthesharpsetting again throughcareful
movementofthetubedrive(B).
5.Itisnotrecommendedtousethedeflectionmirrortogetherwiththeerectinglens(quality
loss).Recommendation:onlyuseindividually.
PRIOR TO OBSERVATION
Trytofocusthetelescopesharply.Itisrecommendedtobeginwithaneyepiecewithlowmagni-
fication on a distant Earth object. The created image of the astronomical telescope appears
upright,however,itisamirrorimage.Inordertoobtainatruesidedimage,removethedeflec-
tionmirrorandinsertthecorrectivelens.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
Yourtelescopeisanopticalprecisioninstrument,i.e.aswithallopticalinstruments,isshouldbe
keptdust-freeandmoisture-free;asthesearefactorsthatnegativelyaffectallopticalsystems.If
thelensesaredirty,blowthedustparticlesoffbeforecleaningthelenses;thencleanthelenses
carefullywithadampenedclothforglasses.Thelensesmustnotbedismantled,andtheremust
benofingerprintson thesurface ofthelenses.Afterobserving,keep the telescopeina dry
anddust-freeplace.Donotexposetheinstrumenttochangingtemperatures,asthehumidity
will otherwise deposit on the objectivelens as condensation.If this should occur, place the
objectivelensnear(nottooclose)toaheatsource,sothatthemoisturecanslowlyevaporate.
