Synthetic Putting Green Maintenance Guide
The GLOBAL SYN-TURF,Inc./GST Artificial Grass Putting Green surfaces require very little
maintenance. You need only keep the golf green surface free of debris. GST recommends
that you use a leaf blower or vacuum to remove debris such as leaves from your artificial turf.
You may need a rake for bigger objects such as dead tree branches/twigs. We recommend a
stiff bristle push broom for fluffing up artificial turf fibers in the high traffic areas as needed.
Weeds may occasionally pop-up along the edge(s). We recommend spraying and killing the
weeds with a chemical such as Round Up or just picking the weeds periodically.
Clean up your synthetic grass after your pets or animals by removing the bulk of the
droppings and hosing down the rest of the debris. Use biodegradable odor remover as you
prefer.
The GST Artificial Grass Putting Green requires no watering, mowing, edging, seeding,
aerating, fertilizing and only as needed, blowing and weeding.
The best thing about having a synthetic putting green is that it can be played year-round. It is
not affected by extreme heat or cold and it will not wear out from daily use.
You can control the speed of your artificial putting green by brushing it with a push broom to
reduce speed or you can roll it with a water-filled sod roller to increase speed and to maintain
