Unpacking 3. Position the table so that the trunnion rests in the groove on the side of the frame. 4. Fasten the table to the frame using the lock handle. NOTE. To loosen the table, push in the handle and turn the handle a quarter turn anti-clockwise. To re-tighten the table, push in the handle and turn the handle clockwise. 5. Setting up Setting the table square with the saw blade Electrical installation WARNING. The band saw is equipped with a 230 – 240V ~ single phase 200W motor. It must be connected to an earthed socket and it is recommended that a residual current device (RCD) safety switch of 30 mA capacity be used in the circuit. If the cordset is damaged, have it replaced by an authorised service centre. There is a risk of electric shock if the machine is operated with a damaged power cable.

Setting the cutting height WARNING. Over tightening the band saw will cause premature failure. Under tightening can cause the band to disengage whilst it is in use. 1. Using the rip fence Maintenance The rip fence allows you to make parallel cuts in a sheet of wood, all at the same width. WARNING. Always ensure that the saw is switched off and unplugged from the power supply before making any adjustments. 1. Adjust the rip fence to the required width and secure it in position with the locking handle. 2.
