PART THREE – Silicone Fixed & Hinge Panels
1. Prior to silicone application, place level from top of hinge panel to top
of xed panel to insure that they are level. If not, use rubber block under
one panel to insure that these line up.
2. Trim all rubber blocks with utility knife to be ush with the glass panel
resting on top of them.
3. Silicone the wall and oor surface of the xed and hinge panels. You
need to silicone inside edge and outside edge and make sure the gap
between glass and tile is completely lled with silicone.
TIP: Spraying the silicone with water after applying the silicone and using
a GW spatula to remove the silicone residue will give you a nice clean and
professional nish.
IMPORTANT: Once you have completed the silicone, its critical you leave
the silicone to set for 36-48 hours. Whilst the silicone is setting please
leave the door panel o and only install once silicone has cured.
