Installation 1 Installing the faucet assembly □□ WITH DECK PLATE: Install the faucet body through the top of the sink (not included). Place a bead of clear silicone sealant (not included) around the base of the putty plate (D). Align the hole in the gasket (D) and deck plate (C) with the mounting hole in the sink (not included).
Installation (continued) 2 Securing the faucet assembly 3 Connecting the supply lines CAUTION: Ensure the supply lines do not kink, twist or bend into a “V” or “L” shape during installation. Do not use if there are visible signs of damage. □□ Unscrew the screws on the lock nut (I) until they are flush with the face of the nut. □□ Slide the rubber washer (G) and metal washer (H) onto the shank. Secure the shank with the lock nut (I).
Installation (continued) 4 Attaching the quick connector 5 Installing the weight □□ Remove the cap (K) from the discharge tube (J) and spray hose(M). □□ Attach the quick connector (E) to the discharge tube (J). Pull down the quick connector (E) to ensure it is secure. □□ Attach the weight (F) to cover the weight locator label on the spray hose (M).
Operation 1 Checking for leaks 1 □□ Ensure the handle is in the off position. Turn the hot and cold water supplies on and check all connections for leaks. If leaks are discovered, check the connections to ensure they are tight and properly secured. □□ Detach the pull-out spray head (B) from the spray hose (M). Hold the spray hose (M) firm to prevent it from retracting into the faucet body (A). □□ Lift the handle to allow the water to run for approximately one minute.
Operation for low or reduced 3 Checking water pressure □□ Turn off the water supply and disconnect the quick connector (E) from the outlet hose. □□ Disconnect the quick connector (E) from the pull-down spray hose (M) and flush under running water. □□ Use a cotton swab (not included) to clean the cone filter that is pre-installed in the quick connector (E) and flush under running water. □□ Reattach the quick connector (E) to the outlet hose (J).
