Adjusting the Recorder Battery Belt
The Recorder-Battery belt is an external belt that the patient
wears during the examination. It contains two pouches for
holding the Recorder and the Battery pack. It is important
that the belt fits the patient and the patient is comfortable
wearing the belt.

To fit the Recorder-Battery belt
1.
Ask the patient to stand up.
2.
Place the belt around the patient’s waist.
3.
Adjust the belt to fit the patient. For shorter patients, it
will be necessary to add the belt extension.
4.
Make sure that the Battery Pack and the Recorder pouch
are at the patient’s waist as the following figure shows:

Adjust the suspenders to fit the patient.
6.
Remove the belt.
7.
Place the belt next to the Battery Pack and the Recorder.
