• The patient should be instructed to contact the physician
immediately if after ingesting the M2A™ Capsule he/she
has any abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting.
• The patient should be instructed to keep the Data
Recorder Waist Belt on throughout the procedure, for a
minimum of 8 hours.
• This M2A™ Capsule must be stored in a safe place out
of the reach of children and/or infants.
• If contrary to instructions a patient ingested two capsules,
he/she should be instructed to contact the physician
immediately.
• If a child has accidentally swallowed an unused or spent
M2A™ Capsule, the child should be brought
immediately to a hospital.
• The M2A™ Capsule should be ingested only in the
presence of authorized personnel. The patient should be
instructed not to let his/her relatives, neighbors or
acquaintances use the M2A™ Capsule.
• This device has not been tested in pediatric population
(children 18 and below) and safety in young children is
unknown.
