recorder

PROBLEM #3

Data Recorder LED does not blink when the M2A™ Capsule

is in the patient’s mouth.

SOLUTION

Tell the patient to keep the Data Record belt on, and

instruct the patient to take the M2A™ Capsule out of

his/her mouth.

Hold the M2A™ Capsule next to a sensor attached to the

patient’s abdomen.

If the LED blinks, ask the patient to ingest the Capsule.

If not, replace the M2A™ Capsule and restart the

M2A™ Capsule Dispensing procedure as described on

page

. Be sure to dispose of the first capsule as per

the instructions in this manual.

PROBLEM #4

The Data Recorder LED stops blinking during the

examination and more than 6 hours have passed since the

Capsule ingestion.

SOLUTION

A minimum of 6 hours is considered a successful

examination. However, it is recommended to try and continue

with the examination, and to check that the termination is not

due to a connection fault or to a Battery Pack premature
