Each card contains virtually all of the circuitry needed to reproduce and process one audio track. Up to 16 of these cards can fit into one CC-1600 card cage.

The delay will occur any time a start command is received after a Repeater has received a reset command.

This feature is available on the DR-300 and DR-400 Digital Audio Repeater / Mixer cards. The other audio sources can be live microphones, RF microphones, film, video, or just about anything else.

A VCA is used to adjust an audio track's volume by applying a control signal to the Digital Audio Repeater / Mixer card.

The CC-400 holds up to four cards. All card cage slots on each motherboard are identical. Most of the connections to the system are made to the motherboard on the back of the card cage.

The jumpers are inserted horizontally. If you are using external power, then you can only use the CHAIN STARTS jumpers if the COMMON connection is also tied together between the cards.

This card is removable, held in place by two 6-32 x 1/4" round head screws.

With a 10 VDC input to the VCA circuits (either from the VCA input, VCA Bus, or 10 VDC reference), the range of control is +17 dBm to -80 dBm.

Switch positions 1 through 8 select any of the eight VCA Bus lines. Switch 9 is used if you don't want or need to use the VCA functions. It feeds the 10 VDC reference level to the VCA circuits.

The first, and easiest, way of configuring a Repeater is through the serial port. The second way is through the two 8 position dip switches located on each card.

If at any point you enter a command in error and it is waiting for additional input, you can leave the command by entering an ape key. With the exception of the GROUP ENABLE and PA ZONE ENABLE commands, this will leave the original configuration unaltered. These two commands will only be changed up to the point where you aped.
