Connection to a router is required for Internet telephony VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). You can set up and configure up to six accounts (VoIP phone numbers) from one or several VoIP provider(s) on the base.

You can therefore use it to make calls with brilliant sound quality (High Definition Sound Performance). If you register broadband-capable handsets with your base, internal calls between these handsets and between the base and handset will also be conducted via broadband.
