You are helping to protect the environ-
ment with your Gigaset
S790/S795.
Reducing energy consumption
By using a power-saving adapter plug,
your telephone consumes less power.
Reducing radiation
The radiation from your telephone is
reduced automatically:
u The handset's transmission power is
reduced depending on the distance to
the base.
u The transmission power on the base is
reduced to virtually zero when only one
handset is registered and the handset is
placed in the base.
You can reduce the radiation from the
handset and base even more by using
Eco Mode.
u Eco Mode
reduces the base's transmission power
by 80% in standby and talk mode.

Setting an appointment
(calendar)
You can use your handset to remind your-
self of up to 30 appointments. Anniversa-
ries (¢ page 33) entered in the directory
are automatically recorded in the calen-
dar.
Saving an appointment.
Prerequisite: The date and time have
already been set (¢ page 15).

u The current day is selected (highlighted
in white).
u Days on which appointments have
already been saved are highlighted in
white.
r/q Select the required day in the
graphical calendar.
The selected day is highlighted in white.
The current day is no longer highlighted.
w Press the
center of the control
key.
u If appointments have already been
entered, this will open the list of saved
appointments on that day.
Select
<New Entry>

§OK§ to open the
data input window.
u If no appointments have been entered,
the data input window will open imme-
diately to add the new appointment.

Please note
Activating Eco Mode reduces the
range of the base.
