Ring delay/cost saving function for remote operation
You can set when you want the answering machine to accept a call.
The options are:
No delay, after 10 sec., 18 sec. or 30 sec. and the cost-saving set-
ting
Auto.
In Auto mode, the following applies for ring delay:
u If there are no new messages, the answering machine answers a call after
20 seconds.
u If new messages are present, the answering machine accepts a call after
10 seconds.
When operating remotely you can tell after approx. 15 seconds that there are
no new messages (otherwise the answering machine would already have
accepted your call). There is no call charges if you hang up now.
