Getting started
Connecting the base station to the telephone network and the
mains power supply
u Insert the phone cable into the right-
hand/lower connection socket at
the rear of the base until it clicks into
place.
u Insert the power cable of the power
adapter into the left-hand/upper
connection socket .
u Push both cables into the appropriate
cable channels .
u Place the cover in the notches on the
back of the base (not if mounting
on the wall).
u Connect the power adapter .
u Connect the phone jack .

Notes
u The power adapter must always be connected, as the phone will not operate without a
power supply.
u Use only the supplied power adapter and phone cord. Pin connections on telephone
cables can vary (pin connections,
