Multiple handsets

Making internal calls

Internal calls to other handsets registered on the same base are free.

Calling a specific handset

Start the internal call. ¤ Enter the number of the handset.

Or:

u Start the internal call. ¤ s Select the handset. ¤ Press the Talk key c.

You hear the busy tone if:

u There are already two internal connections.

u The handset being called is not available (deactivated, outside range).

u The internal call is not accepted within three minutes.

Calling all handsets ("group call")

Start the internal call: ¤ Briefly press u. ¤ * Press the star key

Or:

¤ Briefly press u. ¤ Call all ¤ Press the Talk key c.

Or:

¤ Press and hold u.

All handsets are called.

Ending a call

¤ Press the End call key a.

Transferring a call to another handset

You can transfer (connect) an external call to another handset.

¤ u Open list of handsets. The external participant hears music on hold, if activated

¢ page 52). ¤ s Select handset or Call all ¤ OK

u When the internal participant answers:

¤ Announce the external call, if necessary. ¤ a

Or before the internal participant answers: ¤ a

The external call is transferred to the other handset.

u If the internal participant does not respond or is busy:

¤ End

You return to the external call. If the internal participant does not answer or the line is busy,

the call will automatically return to you.

Initiating an internal consultation/conference

When you are conducting an external call, you can call an internal participant at the same time

for consultation or hold a conference call between all 3 participants.

u Open list of handsets. The external participant hears music on hold, if activated

¢ page 52). ¤ s Select the handset. ¤ OK. You are connected to the internal participant.

u Back to external call:

¤ Options ¤ q End active call ¤ OK

You are reconnected with the external participant.

u Initiate conference call:

¤ Conference

All 3 participants are connected with each other.

If the internal participant does not answer:

¤ End. You return to the external caller.
