ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitalservice,
pursuanttoPart15oftheFCCrules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainst
harmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Anychangesormodificationsmadetothisequipment
mayvoidtheuser’sauthoritytooperatethisequipment.Thisequipmentgenerates,uses,andcanradiateradio
frequencyenergy,andifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmful
interferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurina
particularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,
whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrectthe
interferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:
● Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
● Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
● Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.
● Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.
● Allexternalcablesconnectingtothisbasicunitmustbeshielded.
ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:
(1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and
(2)This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
The FCC RF safety requirement:
TheradiatedoutputpowerofthewirelessLANMiniPCICardandBluetoothcardisfarbelowtheFCC
radiofrequencyexposurelimits.Nevertheless,theNotebookseriesshallbeusedinsuchamannerthatthe
potentialforhumancontactduringnormaloperationisminimizedasfollows:
(1)UsersarerequestedtofollowtheRFsafetyinstructionsonwirelessoptiondevicesthatareincludedin
theuser’smanualofeachRFoptiondevice.
Caution:Anychangesormodicationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythegranteeofthisdevicecouldvoid
theuser’sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.
NOTE:ThewirelessMiniPCIadapterimplementsatransmissiondiversityfunction.Thefunctiondoes
notemitradiofrequenciessimultaneouslyfrombothantennas.Oneoftheantennasisselectedauto-
maticallyormanually(byusers)toensuregoodqualityradiocommunication.
(2)Animproperinstallationorunauthorizedusemaycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.
AlsoanytamperingoftheinternalantennawillvoidtheFCCcerticationandyourwarranty.
