WDS (Wireless Distribution System) OperationMode
The Access Point supports three operation modes: “Access Point”, “Point to Point”, “Point
to MultiPoint”. The default operation mode is “Access Point”.
1 Access Point
The operational mode is set to
Access Point by default. This
connects your wireless PCs to
a wired network. In most
cases, no change is
necessary.
1 Point to Point Mode
In this WDS supported mode,
the Access Point can
communication with other
GIGA-BYTE Access point
which is also set to Point to
Point and MultiPoint mode.
You have to enter the MAC
address of the host AP.
