PART# 620006-B
WHEN INSTALLING THIS EXHAUST SYSTEM MAKE SURE TO USE ALL THE PROPER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. USE JACK
STANDS WHEN UNDER TRUCK, SET PARKING BRAKE, BLOCK TIRES AND USE SAFETY GLASSES.
DO NOT WORK WITH HOT PIPES!!!
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable before removal of the OEM Exhaust. This will allow the
computer to reset and recognize the new exhaust. Lay out the exhaust on the floor so it looks
like the drawing and compare parts with manual. Dis-connect your factory NPT valves located on
the rear tips and forward tailpipes. You will re use the motors on the tailpipes. Using a 15MM
socket or wrench remove bolts on the Passenger side flange. Loosen the clamp on the driver
side. Remove the 13MM bolts on the cross member located in the middle of the vehicle. Remove
the factory O2 sensor on the passenger headpipe NOTE: Rear hangers are easier to remove of you
un-bolt the bracket from the body. Remove factory exhaust
“MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A 1” CLEARANCE ON ALL PIPES FROM ALL RUBBER BRAKE LINES,
SHOCK BOOTS, TIRES, ETC…” TORQUE ALL CLAMPS TO APPROX. 100 TO 150 FT LBS.
2. Install the PS
headpipe Item A and Item
B onto the factory
pipes. Reuse the factory
gaskets and hardware. Do
not tighten. Keep loose
until final fitment.
Install O2 sensor at the
end of the install.
3. Install Item C onto
the headpipes using
clamps Item I to secure.
Do not tighten. Install
Item D & E onto the X
pipe. Keep everything
loose.
4. Install Item F onto
the mid pipes. With
everything kept loose it
should slide on simply.
Use a jack stand to
support the muffler
assembly and re install
the factory hangers if
you chose to un bolt
them during the removal
of the factory exhaust.
5. With the muffler
assembly being supported
in the hangers go forward
and check for clearance
issues and make your
minor adjustments to find
the best fit. Now install
your Tip assembly G & H.
6. With a proper 1”
clearance from all frame
all pipes begin to
tighten down all clamp
connections from the
front head pipe back.
After each section has
been tightened go back
and re check all
components for clearance.
7. Remove the NPT valves
from your factyory
exhaust located on the
tailpipes. Using your
10MM, install both onto
your mid pipes and re
connect. Re install your
Factory O2 sensor. It may
take 4-500 miles for your
vehicle to fully adjust
to the changes in exhaust
flow.
