Section 6 - Accidental Release Measures
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personal Precautions Use personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid
contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Environmental Precautions Avoid release to the environment. See Section 12 for additional ecological
information.
Methods for Containment and Clean up Soak up with inert absorbent material. Keep in suitable, closed containers
for disposal.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Section 7 - Handling and Storage
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Handling
Wear personal protective equipment. Do not breathe
gas/fumes/vapor/spray. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not
taste or swallow. Avoid prolonged exposure. Use only with adequate
ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. DO NOT handle, store or open
near an open flame, sources of heat or sources of ignition. Protect material
from direct sunlight. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Avoid release
to the environment.
Storage Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in original container
protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well ventilated area, away
from incompatible materials (see Section 10) and food and drink. Separate
from oxidizing materials. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until
ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed
and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabeled containers.
Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination. Keep
from freezing.

Personal Protective Equipment
Engineering Controls: Local exhaust ventilation may be necessary to control any air contaminants to within their TLVs during the
use of this product. Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash facility and a safety shower.
Respiratory Protection: No special respiratory protection equipment is recommended under anticipated conditions of normal use.
However a NIOSH/MSHA approved air purifying respirator with an organic vapor cartridge or canister may be permissible under
certain circumstances where airborne concentrations are expected to exceed exposure limits. Protection provided by air purifying
respirators is limited. A respiratory protection program that meets OSHA 1910.134 and ANSI Z88.2 requirements must be followed
whenever workplace conditions warrant a respirator's use.
Skin Protection: Not normally considered a skin hazard. The glove(s) listed below may provide protection against permeation.
Gloves of other chemically resistant materials may not provide adequate protection. Rubber, nitrile or neoprene to prevent skin
contact. Wear chemical resistant gloves such as polyvinyl alcohol. If splashing is likely, wear impervious clothing and boots to
prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact. Contact your supplier of PPE for additional instruction on proper use. Additionally,
Viton and Safety 4H (Canada) to prevent skin contact.
Eye Protection: Wear safety glasses with side shields (or goggles) when eye contact due to splashing or spraying liquid is
possible.
Other Protective Equipment: No special clothing/skin protection equipment is recommended under normal conditions of
anticipated use. Where use can result in skin contact, practice good personal hygiene.
Hygienic Practices: Wash hands before eating. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Use only
in a well ventilated area. Follow all SDS/label precautions even after container is emptied because they may retain
product residues. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Avoid breathing vapors from heated material. Avoid
contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
