BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

■ If you would like to access your gate using bluetooth or wiﬁ you will need to purchase the Ghost Multi Connect

Kit

(AXMC), sold separately. The phone app. is free on google play or apple store.

■ Push-To-Open applications (gate that swings away from the property) will require the Ghost Controls push-to-open

bracket kit (AXPO).

■ If charging your system with the AC transformer, you will need to purchase a 16 gauge stranded, 2-conductor low voltage

wire (not included) to connect the transformer to the gate operator control board. Up to 1,000 ft. of wire can be used.

■ A 12V Battery is required to operate your gate opener. The Ghost Controls ABBT2 Battery Box with two 12V Batteries is

a good option if using the AC Transformer to recharge the systems battery.

■ FOR SOLAR INSTALLATIONS ON SMART KITS SINGLE OR DUAL GATE USING THE GHOST MULTI

CONNECT

KIT WE RECOMMEND A 12V DEEP CYCLE MARINE BATTERY AND 30 WATTS OF SOLAR!

■ *Make sure to choose the correct solar power for the area you live in, gate location, number of accessories added and

the number of uses (opening and closing the gate) every day. For optimal performance more solar power is better for

recharging the gate batteries. You can add up to 30 Watts (AX30) of solar power to your system.

■ The Wired (AXXV) and Wireless Vehicle Sensors (AXWV) are not recommended or intended for use with properties

that contain livestock or other animals. Instead, we recommend using the Wireless Keypad (AXWK).
